First, the basics. This is a duty-sized optic with a 0.91-by-0.71-inch window, and the common RMR mounting footprint.
As with many previous Osight red dots, power comes from an internal battery pack that charges from a wireless shroud. Battery-level indicators on the hood and optic let you know how much power you have in the battery.

The red multi-reticle is new. This time, you can choose from five programs: a 2-MOA dot only, a 2-MOA dot with a 32-MOA ring, a 6-MOA dot only, a 6-MOA dot with a 32-MOA ring, or the 32-MOA ring only.
The Osight XR also has a flip-up rear iron sight. It’ll likely sit a little high for your front sight, but it should be accurate enough for close-quarters shots.

If you want to use the Osight XR on a PCC or PDW, Osight also sells two heights of Picatinny adapters.
A mounting guide with screw recommendations is available for pistols from 13 popular manufacturers.
Osight lists an MSRP of $299.99 for the XR enclosed-emitter pistol red dot.
