One of the reasons the Ruger 10/22 is so popular is its ability to transform into just about anything, including a precision rifle.
Given the cost of achieving long-range accuracy, switching to rimfire ammo can make precision competition a whole lot more affordable. The new MDT ACC Premier Gen2 chassis now turns the Ruger 10/22 into a legitimate long-range contender.

The ACC Premier Gen2 launched last year. It’s also available for the CZ 457, short-action Howa 1500, short-action Remington 700 (also in left-handed configurations), short-action Ruger American, Ruger 10/22, short-action Savage rifles, Tikka T1X, short-action Tikka T3/T3x, Volquartsen, and short-action Weatherby Vanguard.
Just like its bigger siblings, the Ruger 10/22 chassis comes stacked with high-end competitive features.

The whole system is customizable so you can get a perfect fit. The removable MDT SRS-X Lite buttstock is adjustable for comb height and length of pull. The MDT Vertical Grip – Premier is adjustable for reach and angle.
Want to add attachments? Of course you do. The 15-inch forend is shortened to accommodate shorter barrels, but it still has M-LOK slots on either side, and an ARCA rail underneath.
The forend also accommodates MDT’s internal weights, so you can make the platform more stable and better balanced.

It’s a very serious chassis system for competitive shooters looking for an incredibly accurate precision rimfire rifle. Given the price, you’ll want to complete the build with an equally capable barrel and scope.
MDT lists an MSRP of $999.95 for the ACC Premier Gen2.
