I had a negative experience with The Mag Shack my first time trying them out, although YMMV.
I bought a pair of these mags from them for a friend's birthday on Oct 4, 2025, but my order never arrived and they never told me there was a problem.
When I hit the tracking link Oct. 10 it gave me an error code. So, I sent The Mag Shack an email asking what happened and got this response Oct. 13:
"We apologize that the cancelation email we sent previously must not have reached you. Your order tripped our fraud detection system and was canceled/refunded. To avoid future issues, we advise having the order shipped to the billing address associated with the card used on the order."
They never sent any cancellation email. That's a load of BS. Haven't seen a refund yet either.
Obviously, I'm not impressed. Fortunately, there are lots of purchasing options for firearms enthusiasts these days.
Yes, the field is heavily regulated, but it's not asking too much to expect businesses to notify you when there's a problem. Instead of leaving you to solve the mystery yourself. In this case their fraud alert was inaccurate.
