The .30-30 Win chambering is new to the series, but most of the rifle will look familiar.
Like the existing Model 1854 rifles, this one has classic lever-gun lines, an oversized loop, six rounds in the tube, and a flat-faced trigger.
The receiver comes with a Picatinny rail so you can mount a scope or red dot. If you want to keep it old school, it also features a ghost ring rear sight and a gold bead front sight from XS Sights.

Subtle modern perks include a threaded muzzle and an M-LOK slot on each side of the forend.
This rifle joins an existing lineup that includes .357 Mag, .44 Mag, .45 Colt, and the big dog itself: .45-70 Govt. Some of those variants offer a wood stock option, but we’ll have to be happy with a synthetic stock on the .30-30 Win rifle for now.

Which 1894 would you rather see chambered for .30-30 Win next, a wood stock or a Stealth Hunter model?
Smith & Wesson lists an MSRP of $1,399 for the Model 1854 chambered for .30-30 Win.
