At first blush, the new Glock Gen 6 pistols are a considerable leap forward for the brand. They’re more ergonomic and flatter-shooting, and there’s no reason to expect a drop-off in reliability compared to previous generations.
But they come with polymer optic mounting plates! I’ve successfully used polymer plates before, but I wouldn’t trust them the same way I trust an all-metal interface.
Fortunately, C&H Precision Weapons already has a solution. Here’s a quick rundown of the new C&H Glock Gen 6 adapter plates.

First, let’s talk about compatibility. The new batch of C&H plates serves all Glock Gen 6 pistols. If you haven’t already, check out our deep-dive Glock 19 Gen 6 review!

Available optic footprints include the following:
Each plate is built from 6061 aluminum and fastens to the slide with stainless steel screws.

They also use stainless steel T-posts that increase thread engagement to create a stronger connection point with each screw. These are removable, so you can replace just the T-post, rather than the whole system, if you damage one.
C&H lists an MSRP of $69.99 to $79.99 for the Glock Gen 6 adapter plates.
