Suppressors work like mufflers for firearms. Just like your car’s exhaust, they get really, really hot.

Next level Armament partnered with Infernoware to develop suppressors that stay cooler while you’re shooting and return to a temperature that’s safe to handle much quicker than other suppressors.

One way to protect your hands and range bag from a scalding-hot suppressor is with a suppressor cover. That approach works, but it’s just masking the problem, and it actually holds in heat longer.

Infernoware uses graphene to release heat from the metal suppressor into the air more efficiently. According to FLIR test results published by Next Level Armament, its suppressors cool down four times faster than those without Infernoware.

Its suppressors also use conventional cooling techniques, like knurling the exterior to increase surface area.

There are three product lines to choose from, depending on your goals.

The range-topping Eminent series delivers maximum durability for professionals and other high-volume shooters. Next Level Armament rates these 3D-printed inconel suppressors for sustained fully automatic fire from calibers up to 5.56 millimeters or .36 caliber, depending on which suppressor you choose.

The value-focused Oscar series is not full-auto rated, but its one-piece, 3D-printed titanium construction can handle popular cartridges ranging from 9mm and .300 BLK to long-range and hunting loads like 6.5 Creedmoor and .308 Win for a reasonable price.

Both feature Infernoware coating and a HUB-compatible base to mount on a range of threads.

Next Level Armament lists a starting MSRP of $815 for Gen 2 suppressors with Infernoware coating.

These new suppressors join the budget-friendly Predator series, which uses titanium-nitride-coated stainless steel baffles and a DLC-coated aluminum tube. Both the 5.56 mm and .36-caliber Predator suppressors have an MSRP of $500.
