Brian Smyth
Brian Smyth still remembers his first visit to the range at eight years old, a trip that included a tiny .22 rifle and sparked a lifelong passion for firearms. (Ok, so, maybe it’s an obsession.) Since then, he has developed an ability to write mildly amusing nerd-out sessions masquerading as informative, educational articles. (Somehow, he managed to convince Task & Purpose, Outdoor Life, and a few others to publish his ramblings.) In addition to guns, he can’t get enough of Top Gun: Maverick and Tex Mex, but his biggest passion is sharing his own knowledge and skill sets with others.
