Suppressors are always fun, but sometimes it’s better to buy a firearm that was designed to run suppressed from square one.

One example of that is the new CMMG Zeroed Banshee line of AR-15 pistols and short-barreled rifles.

As I expect from CMMG, there are a bunch of exciting cartridge options and colors to choose from. Let’s get into all the details to see if this needs to be your next purchase for range-day fun or home defense.

The new line of Zeroed Banshee AR-15s includes roller-delayed blowback options in 5.7x28, 9mm, 10mm, .45 ACP, and direct-impingement .300 BLK. These span four CMMG platforms: Mk4, Mk10, MkG, and MKGs.

Not sure what those all mean? CMMG has a great blog post explaining the differences. Simply put, they tell you if a lower receiver is cartridge-specific or multi-cartridge compatible. We have a CMMG Banshee review if you want live-fire impressions.

All Zeroed Banshees feature a 6.5-inch barrel and an oversized 10-inch M-LOK handguard that tucks over either a 6.5-inch Zeroed suppressor or a shorter faux suppressor that acts as a blast diverter and looks the part until you inevitably take the plunge and btake advantage of $0 tax stamps.

Since suppressors get hot, Zeroed banshees come with silicone M-LOK grips to protect your hands.

Other perks include an ambidextrous charging handle, ambidextrous safety, single-stage trigger, and Zeroed pistol grip.

Each submodel is available in black, coyote tan, FS green, midnight bronze, and tungsten Cerakote.

Pistol variants come with a six-position adjustable CMMG Ripbrace, but SBR variants are also available.

CMMG lists an MSRP of $1,649.95 to $2,324.95 for the Zeroed Banshee, depending on the platform and whether you choose a suppressed or unsuppressed variant.
