The Daniel Defense PCC is an expensive PCC, but it backs up the high price tag with performance. During our testing, it was very accurate and noticeably softer-shooting than most PCCs, thanks to the clever Kynshot hydraulic buffer. The only hiccup came from fully-loaded magazines. Loading them one round short solved the issue, and a break-in period might do the same. All in all, we love the PCC 916.

After thorough testing, we can confirm that Geissele’s high-end (and high-priced) Super Duty is worth the price of entry. This AR-15 comes with up-spec components out of the box so there’s no need to modify it. It shoots accurately with a variety of ammunition and feels great doing it.

The Sig M400 Tread is a great mid-level AR-15 for those looking for something above an entry-level rifle without breaking the bank. Good furniture, a quality barrel and twist rate, and a decent trigger make this rifle hard to beat its the price point.

The Ruger PC Carbine is a modernized pistol caliber carbine with tactical features. A wide aftermarket allows for accessories, and the ability to break the gun down and stow it make this a handy gun.

The DDM4 V1 is a 5.56mm AR15 style rifle that is known to be reliable and accurate. The rifle features a 16in M4 profile barrel with a carbine length gas system. This rifle is pricey but the quality makes up for it.

The Henry Big Boy Classic is a slick-looking entry into Henry’s Big Boy series. It offers a 20-inch barrel and 10-round capacity with a lever-action design. Practically, it’s not the best for defensive situations, but its sheer fun makes up for that.

Daniel Defense’s Mk18 runs extremely well. It’s a blast to shoot and handled well in CQB-type training scenarios. We’ve put well over 1,000 rounds through our model, and it’s still running like it did day one. We did have a little trouble with DD proprietary mags — but that was managed by removing a couple of rounds and gently seating it into the magwell. PMAGs run great, though! The Mk18 is a fun pistol or SBR option (depending on what you prefer). Chambered in 5.56 NATO, it offers a 10.3-inch barrel on a 28.6-inch overall length. Pistol versions sport an SB-Tactical pistol stabilizing brace (keep an eye out, though, as laws may be changing there).
