The 9mm RTR is the ACOG Compact’s secret sauce. It combines a 3.25-MOA center dot and an outer ring to get you on target in a hurry. For longer engagements, there are elevation holds out to 300 yards when zeroed at 50 yards with 9mm ammo.
Notice how there are two sets of holds? Those are for 147-grain subsonic rounds (left) and 115-grain rounds (right). Pretty slick! Just remember that this is designed for use with an 8-inch barrel, so these holds might be slightly near or far for your PCC or PDW.
As with other ACOG models, those stadia correlate to 19 inches at their designated distances, which provides a built-in ranging tool.
The circle-dot portion of the RTR is available in red or green. Illumination comes from a combination of fiber optic and tritium, so there are no batteries to replace, and no brightness settings to adjust.
