These shorts use super lightweight nylon to keep them breathable, and just enough spandex to let them move with your body. Both hand pockets and the fly are zippered.
Take your pick from black or sandman tan, and a 5- or 7-inch inseam.
What’s new – aside from the more breathable fabric – is the dual-function waistband with four different ways to carry a firearm.

- IWB belt / IWB holster: This is the most covert way to wear these shorts. Attach Arrowhead Tactical’s OmniCarry belt with the interior loops, clip your IWB holster to it, and keep the whole setup tucked out of sight.
- OWB belt / IWB holster: If you’d rather use your normal gun belt, feed it through the exterior belt loops. This way, you can wear your IWB holster like you would with any other pants or shorts. For this approach, Arrowhead Tactical made it possible to tuck the drawstrings out of the way.
- OWB belt / OWB holster: Of course, you can rock an OWB holster, too. If you’re training at the range and don’t mind having your pistol exposed, this is a great way to keep unnecessary sweat out of your holster.
- Duty belt / duty holster: Last but not least, the 1.5-inch exterior belt loops are large enough to accommodate many battle belts. Go ahead and rock all your favorite high-speed gear!
Arrowhead Tactical lists an MSRP of $69.99 for the Hybrid Training Shorts.
