Right off the bat, I see a port in that Springfield Armory Grey Cerakote slide. I was really pleased with this design during my Echelon 4.0C Comp review, so the Echelon Pro should be a very soft-shooting pistol.
The grip module is sporting a snazzy new texture, which Springfield calls Badlands. A steel magazine well is a welcome addition for go-fast shooters, and it’s small enough that I don’t imagine it would be a problem for concealed carry.

Inside, the Echelon Pro gets more metal: the guide rod is now stainless steel instead of polymer. I upgraded one of my pistols this way, and I’m very happy with the results. You might be surprised how much a few extra ounces up front can improve felt recoil.
You can get all these goodies in three configurations: the Echelon Pro 4.0C (compact grip, compact slide), 4.0FC (full-size grip, compact slide), and 4.5F (full-size grip, full-size slide).
The Echelon Pro 4.0C comes with three 18-round magazines, and the other two ship with a trio of 20-round mags.

Springfield lists an MSRP of $899 for the Echelon Pro.
Don’t forget that one of the coolest Echelon features is the serialized Central Operating Group that lets you mix and match OEM and aftermarket components however you like -- no FFL required.
If you already own an Echelon, it’s possible that Springfield will offer some of these upgrades a la carte so you can grab them without buying a whole new pistol. That's my hope, anyway.
