Have you been paying attention to Sig Sauer lately?

The Newington, New Hampshire company has been rolling out new products at a rapid clip, and one of them is a hot new CCW pistol that blurs the lines between compact and full-size.

It’s called the P365-FUSE, and it’s the latest in a string of P365 adaptations that have the industry buzzing.

Factory upgrades include a nickel-plated, flat-faced X-Series trigger and extended slide release.

The 4.3-inch barrel (now the longest of any P365) provides a full-size slide length on the svelte CCW platform.

To put that in context, the barrel is more than 0.25 inches longer than a Glock 19 barrel, but the pistol’s overall length is nearly identical — and it’s still only an inch wide.

This pistol uses the same polymer grip module as the P365 X-Macro but with an updated laser-engraved texture for more control. Three backstrap sizes are included. Sig finished off the grip module with a magazine well that you can remove if you want a little more concealability.

No modern CCW gun would be complete without the ability to accessorize, and the P365-FUSE has a standard Picatinny rail for a pistol light and an optic-cut slide that’s compatible with the Shield RMS-c footprint.

Naturally, you can order your pistol with a Sig Sauer ROMEO-X COMPACT red dot already installed. This optic features manual control of 15 brightness settings, automatic shutoff with motion activation, an estimated 20,000-hour battery run time, and a reticle that includes a 2-MOA dot and a 32-MOA ring.

Sig Sauer P365-FUSE

“Born from the iconic roots of the game-changing P365, the true crossover handgun has finally arrived; the P365-FUSE is the ultimate in full-size capability and micro-compact concealment for unmatched versatility,” Robby Johnson, Sig Sauer’s chief marketing officer, said. “With an optics-ready slide and barrel longer than any other compact in its class, combined with the ultra-thin LXG grip, the P365-FUSE delivers on accuracy, performance, and reliability.”

If you’re not completely satisfied with your compact carry gun, give the P365-FUSE a look. Likewise, for anyone in the full-size-only club, this could be a more comfortable alternative that doesn’t force you to sacrifice any capability.

The P365-FUSE is available now for $775.99.
