This carbine is a shortened version of Henry’s existing Long Ranger. This one cuts barrel length down to 18.5 inches. It comes with a peep rear sight and fiber optic front sight, and the receiver is drilled and tapped for adding a scope.

It’s a compact, agile package that’s more nimble in thick woods, cramped blinds, and precarious tree stands. If you need to step out of the woods and reach across an ag field, it can certainly handle that better than your old .30-30 Win hunting rifle.

Like its rifle-length counterpart, this carbine is chambered for .308 Win

Henry already offers the Long Ranger Express Carbine in 5.56 NATO. What do you think, is there a chance we’ll see a carbine chambered for .243 Win or 6.5 Creedmoor anytime soon?

The final touch on this new lever gun is an inlaid Big Woods Bucks logo in green plaid.

Henry lists an MSRP of $1,500 for the Long Ranger Big Woods Carbine.
