Pew Pew Meter

Editor’s Note: The Springfield Hellcat OSP has all the great features of the standard Hellcat but with the addition of an optics-ready slide. A slim 1-inch width, 11 and 13-round capacity magazines, Picatinny rail, and tritium U-dot sights make this a strong competitor in the micro compact world.

FINAL VERDICT

"The Springfield Hellcat may be little, but it packs a punch. This 9mm is the perfect companion for concealed carriers in need of a micro-compact 9mm for carry. While it does have a bit of felt recoil, you can thank the tiny size for the one; it's easily managed. Shooting-wise, it stays on target and is one reliable pistol! Biggest complaint is that larger-handed shooters may struggle to get a full firing grip -- but that's easily fixed with the extended magazine." - Travis Pike
