The people at Canik have been busy. They just dropped one of the most anticipated releases from SHOT Show 2026, and there’s a lot to see under the hood.
Is the new Canik Prime Radian the brand’s fastest, flattest-shooting carry gun to date? That’s very possible.
Let’s take a look at the specs and see if this pistol needs to be on your shopping list.

The Prime Radian has good bones. It’s based on the popular Mete MC9 Prime we first saw at SHOT Show 2025, which is known for having great ergonomics and one of the better triggers in the striker-pistol market.

Other highlights include tritium night sights front and rear, a flared magazine well, deep slide serrations, and 17+1 capacity. All that’s in a pistol that’s small enough to carry everyday.
This time, Canik collaborated with Radian to install the Ramjet barrel and Afterburner compensator at the factory.
Several of us at Pew Pew Tactical have shot this setup on a Glock 19, and I can confirm that it rips – but don’t take my word for it.
As usual, Canik crushes the value proposition, The Prime Radian comes with a hard case, holster, tool kit, speed loader, gun lock, three sizes of backstrap inserts, and two 17-round magazines (or two 10-round magazines where required by law).
You can add an optic of your choice with the RMSc-cut slide, or order your Prime Radian with a Canik Onyxc red dot already installed.

And because this comes from the Prime line, the Prime Radian is built right here in the U.S.
Canik lists an MSRP of $899.99 for the Prime Radian.
