Editor’s Note: "The Ruger LCP II is a fantastic option for people looking for an easily concealed .380 ACP pistol. It is surprisingly accurate, considering its size, and plenty reliable for self-defense. One thing we’d like to see is better customization options. All in all, we really like this gun."

        FINAL VERDICT

"The Ruger LCP II is a great option for people looking for a .380 ACP for either primary carry or backup carry. It's an accurate shooter, considering its size, and very reliable. While it lacks a lot of customizations, it does make up for that a little with the integrated laser -- especially since those sights are all black. All in all, not a bad, budget gun."

67yo male. I live in Houston and the summers are long, hot and humid. I just put in one of the pockets in my shorts, with a pocket holster (bought separately, not the one that comes with the gun.). It is basically impossible to snag when carried in a holster and I'm good to go. I can easily shoot it well at 10 yards; I bought the version with the built-in red dot sight
