Editor’s Note: The Kel-Tec RDB Survival is an interesting 5.56 rifle that can easily fill multiple roles. Its slim and compact bullpup design makes it ideal for use as a camping gun, survival rifle, truck gun, or even a home defense tool. The downward-ejecting design and reversible charging handle also mean this rifle is a true ambidextrous gun.

By The Numbers

Accuracy

Our test gun averaged 1" groups at 50 yards and roughly 3" groups at 100 yards.

Reliability

We had a single malfunction that was user-induced. When the magazine was seated properly, the gun ran 100%.

Customization

Outside of attachments for the Picatinny rail, there are a few minor upgrades for triggers and charging handles. There isn't too much else out there for this gun specifically.
