Editor’s Note: The Henry Axe .410 is a neat pistol grip only lever-action gun that is classified as an "other firearm," and thus is technically not a shotgun. It is a super fun, compact plinker in a very unique and well-built package. However, its use cases are extremely limited, as are any potential upgrades.

It is a .410 shotgun with a short barrel and a pistol grip. There isn't much to expect in this department.
Reliability
Henry ensured that this gun works with different ammo from various manufacturers. We had zero issues.
Customization
Outside of being drilled and tapped for an optic rail, there isn't much else you can add to this gun.
Ergonomics
It is slightly heavy and the pistol grip-only design is a bit awkward, but the gun is easy to handle and feels good.
Value
We feel it is priced a bit high given its limited usefulness.
