Beretta APX A1 optics-ready 9mm pistol, 17rd - $399.99 ($299.99 after rebate)

What we like

The APX A1 has a great trigger, solid ergonomics, an optics-ready slide, and all the reliability and accuracy you'd expect from a Beretta product. These things shoot lights out and are one of our favorite sleeper picks when it comes to 9mm pistols in general. With the rebate going on, it is going to be tough to find another pistol with this kind of build quality at a similar price.
