The EXO Pro muffs react in about 5 milliseconds, quick enough that you don’t notice the shot getting through before the cut kicks in, and with the volume up you can still hear range commands and whoever’s next to you. What actually keeps us using them is the gel pads. You can wear them a full afternoon with glasses on and not get that squeezed-head feeling, and the cheekweld cutout keeps them from sliding off when you’re behind a rifle.
